Great place! We met some friends in Florida for a week and this was the perfect place for the 4 of us. The kitchen is truly fully stocked, acutally the entire house is fully stocked. It was clean and you could not ask for a better location! We would definitely stay here again!

I’ve stayed in every beach town between Destin & 30A for over 25 years - except Miramar - prior to our recent week. Hands down the best location and the most comfortable quarters I’ve ever personally experienced! Sandpiper Cottage is perfectly situated to take advantage of all of the amazing restaurants in Destin and all along 30A. The private beach club for Emerald Shores was excellent and the beach never crowded. We tried a few new restaurants this trip - Acme Oyster House, Mezcal (best Mexican Ive ever had stateside), Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar and really enjoyed Kenny Ds for several beach break lunches and 3pm to 6pm happy hours many afternoons. We attempted Outcast Seafood out last night but unfortunately waited a bit too late and the wait was prohibitive - amazing reviews so I will visit them earlier in the week on my next trip. Kim and Spencer have done a great job making Sandpiper Cottage truly a home away from home and we are already looking at dates for Summer of 2025!!

This place is great for your beach house feel. We were able to go as a family and everyone enjoyed the many amenities offered (there’s so many). Pools were great, tennis and basketball court. The walk to the beach wasn’t bad but there’s also some really kind people on golf carts that will drive you up to the beach access area! The house itself was great! Clean, spacious, fully stocked with all the things you need/want! Hosts are great at communicating for anything and everything. We loved it!!

Sandpiper Cottage was our slice of beachside bliss. It had everything we could ask for and more. The kitchen had all the essentials, and there were plenty of comfy spots to kick back and relax. The beds were like clouds, and our little one was thrilled with her room's cute decor. The walk to the beach was a bit of a trek for the kids, but the wagon provided made hauling our gear to the beach pavilion a breeze. Renting a golf cart would be a game-changer for added convenience, though. Kim and Spencer were fantastic hosts, answering all the questions we had. We had a blast at the Gulfarium, and lunch at Fat Boys Burgers was a hit. Kenny D's was our go-to spot, especially for those killer hushpuppies and drinks at the bar. And Bruster's Ice Cream? So many flavors, so little time! The Indian Bayou Golf Course was fantastic, too. Thanks to Kim and Spencer for being such great hosts. We're already dreaming of our next getaway at Sandpiper Cottage!

This home is fabulous! The owners are very meticulous and have thought of everything. There is a lot of attention to detail throughout the home. They have taken the time to put together a welcome book- which was also sent as a digital copy when I booked. It was nice to be able to see this ahead of time since we had never been to the area. It includes information about the home, the neighborhood, along with area restaurants and things to do. There is also a welcome basket on the counter that included a large variety of snacks which was very appreciated after a long day of traveling. There are also labels on switches to indicate what they are for (lights, fans) which is so helpful when you're not familiar with a home. It's the little things that make a big difference. The home is VERY clean- immaculate! The owners provide the basics for your stay: small dish soap, new sponge, travel sized toiletries in both bathrooms, a roll of paper towels, and some toilet paper. This was especially appreciated since we flew and only had carry-on luggage. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, dishes, cookware, and towels. Communication with the owner was excellent from the first time I inquired about the property. There was always a quick response to emails when I had questions. I appreciated the information and suggestions she provided (Walmart grocery delivery was perfect and the Dollar General is very short walk. The Dollar General is very nice and they sell alcohol and a ton of food- different from what I've seen in NY). I highly recommend the grocery delivery- who wants to spend time grocery shopping when you're on vacation? I really appreciated this suggestion! The neighborhood is lovely. The landscaping at the house and around the whole neighborhood is gorgeous and everything is very nicely maintained. There are plenty of lounge chairs and lots of space at the pool. It's an easy walk to the gorgeous white sand beach. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again!

Sandpiper Cottage was a great house to stay at. The house is just like the pictures and clean. It was a beautiful home that accommodated 5 adults and a 1 yr old. It was about a 10 min walk to beach but there was also a beach neighborhood shuttle that ran so that was great but they end at 5pm so we walked back to house. It wasn’t bad at all. We would definitely love to stay at this house again on our next trip to Destin! Book your stay you won't be disappointed!

We had a wonderful time at sandpiper cottage. The house was lovely. Everything was clean and lots of supplies were available to use along with the fully stocked kitchen! The pool and beach were just a short walk. We loved the added touch of the welcome basket with snacks, made us feel very welcomed!

Our family absolutely loved this community and the home we stayed in for our vacation! The check in process was simple, the home was absolutely beautiful and very clean upon our arrival. It was by far the best vacation experience we have ever had! Our kids loved the pool(s) and the basketball court, and the home is just a short walk to the beach. It was exactly as advertised. Our family highly recommends this spot for your next vacation!

We include a large beach cart, rolling cooler, beach umbrellas and other beachy items. For family fun night or rainy day activities we have a wide variety of games, cards, and puzzles for kids ages 2-80. We even include an extra HDMI cable already attached with a power strip for those kids (and adults) traveling with their game console!
CALLING ALL CHEFS - If you're cooking for the crew, you'll love the open kitchen fully stocked with all the extras: chef's knives, cutting boards, baking pan, sheet pans, new blender, new toaster, new double Keurig with full-size coffee pot and individual K-cup function. Crock-pot and pancake griddle included. Full set of cookware and everything else you need if you decide to cook and eat at home. There is even a Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville machine for frozen slushies and smoothies. Enjoy your own private gas grill out on the brand new patio for the perfect summer barbecues!
AMAZING EMERALD SHORES SUBDIVISION - Emerald Shores is a private gated community with 2 POOLS, a basketball course and a tennis/pickleball court. The central pool is heated in winter. This is a family friendly environment designed for walking and biking. There are many bike rental services we can recommend.
PRIVATE BEACH - A non-refundable HOA fee of $30 per reservation will be collected on-site when you check-in at the beach pavilion. The fee is payable by credit card only. Wristbands are required for ages 13 and up. The reserving guest will need to provide the beach attendant with evidence of your current lease agreement with a valid ID. The number of wristbands issued may not exceed the number of guests on the reservation. All guests age 13 and up should wear wristbands while at the pool areas, around the pavilion, and at the beach. Please reach out if you have questions about this HOA policy. The one-time $30 resort fee covers your entire household.
SMOKE-FREE/VAPE-FREE - We kindly ask for your cooperation in maintaining our property as a smoke-free and vape-free environment. This extends to all indoor and outdoor spaces. Evidence of smoking on property will result in additional cleaning fees. See rental agreement for more details.
ANIMAL-FREE - As fond as we are of our furry companions, we must stress that this home strictly prohibits all animals. This is due to severe allergy considerations of some of our regular guests. We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing any animals during your stay. If you're seeking accommodations that are animal and/or pet-friendly, please inform us. We would be more than happy to assist in finding a suitable alternative for you! There are several pet-friendly homes in our neighborhood! By Florida law, all service animals must be pre-registered when booking. Failure to pre-register a service animal is a violation of the rental agreement and WILL incur a fine. Taxes and Fees - Standard Florida and Walton County taxes will apply.
Cleaning Fee - $300 - Includes welcome snacks, linens, towels and amenities in each bathroom: hand and body soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper. We provide starter set of dish tabs, trash bags, paper towels and laundry tabs.
Damage Waiver Fee - $5 per night. The fee covers Insuraguest insurance coverage for each booking.
